"The moment there is suspicion about a persons motives, everything he does become tainted"
Mahatma Gandhi
Once again, in a ploy to try and regain some semblance of humanity Gov. Pat McCrory has lied to the people of North Carolina. This time using public media he makes claim to "go out into the crowd" during Moral Mondays. I call bullshit on Pat McCrory.
My partner and I have attended most of the Moral Monday rallies and have never seen him. In fact, we photograph every one and take from 700 to 1000 pictures at each event. After Mr.McCrory made his outlandish statement today, we reviewed all the photos and he is not present in any of them.
Of all the twitter comments made today, the one that says it best is from Laura pcd1- "I saw Pat McCrory
at Moral Monday', said NO ONE EVER!" I am sure there are many like myself who would have become Town Criers and announced to the whole Halifax Mall that he was spotted amongst the crowds. With that said, I am issuing a warning to all my fellow NC protestors out there. The only logical reason Mr.McCrory would have made such a statement is because he is trying to antagonize someone into making a physical threat toward him. I believe his goal is to get the Moral Mondays and the Gallery protests stopped. Anyone at this past weeks rally should have noticed the increase in law enforcement officers.
Further, I believe, ultimately with a threat of physical violence, he could get us banned from the property. Granted it may be our House but what grounds can we stand on if he claims fear for his safety. DON'T FEED HIS RHETORIC.
Plus another excuse would stem from the recent judicial action allowing those bravely arrested during our protests to re-enter as long as they promise not to get arrested again. He cant keep or get us out of our House one way, so he is devising schemes to create others.
This is just a prediction, but in view of the current political situation in North Carolina and his history of doing things in an underhanded and manipulative manner, use caution when confronting Pat McCrory. With that in mind, by all means cuss him out all you want, but don't threaten any physical harm. The best way to hurt him is by taking back control in 2016 and making sure this is his last term.
"Let me remind you of the old maxim: people under suspicion are better moving than at rest, since at rest they may be sitting in the balance without knowing it,being weighed together with their sins." Quote by Franz Kafka.

Todays Policy Watch in NC
This mornings debate on womens right to abortion is open to the public. Not the gallery but open to discussions and anyone with a voice about this miscarriage of justice. So ladies, we implore you to come out and be heard. The moral monday gathering of yesterday was only the prelude to this event. Now is the time to be heard. Now is the time to get action. The number of people present should give you an idea of how much support there is behind you. This is not the time to be silent. Today, during our demonstration, I talked to many outraged leaders who will be there this morning. Not only for the organizations they represent, but also to help rally others in presenting before the House. Seek these people out, they have been fighting hard to get your voices heard, and the time has come. I wish I could more, but getting the word out for all to hear is my limits for now. Keeping up the good fight and wishing us the best today. Give em hell.

A must see regarding dirty politics
I cant give enough praise to Rachel Maddow for everything she does for enlightening so many branches of our community. What more can I say. This show that aired yesterday, says it all, concerning the North Carolina political watch. Thank you Rachel.

Crowd erupts during GA Session
You say you want a revolution.
Well, you know.
We all want to change the world.
You tell me that its evolution.
Well, you know.
We all want to change the world.

THE TIME FOR REVOLUTION IS NOW!
Politics in North Carolina is no longer based on the personal needs of its residents. The outraged voting population (and future voters) of our state have to unite while there is still a viable state to live in. We, as a united people, urgently need to stand up against the G.O.P. majority senate of North Carolina. Good intentions aside, the silent protests are falling on deaf ears, because our republican representatives can NOT be swayed to listen to their people. They have forgotten that the Legislative building belongs to the people who elected them to represent them.
I pose these next questions; not as derogatory remarks towards women; but to open thought processes before the upcoming 2014 elections. How many of you women out there this week voted to put one of these men into office? Did you realize that they were going to use you to gain control of your bodies? How will this affect your voting decisions in 2014?
Lets not relive the historic adage and this time learn from our mistakes! The only threat this "olde-boy" network understands is losing their hierarchy of power. This is rapidly becoming the sequel to "The birth of a nation". In reviewing North Carolina policy reforms in the past year, it is becoming abundantly clear that the Klan is experiencing a resurgence here in our state Legislature. Just look at the similarities between the actions of the North Carolina state senate and the Ku Klux Klan. I am leaving this open for your own investigation to come to your own conclusions. Could they succeed? Are they baiting us into another civil war?

LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN
" If proud Americans can be who they are and boldly stand at the altar with who they love...then surely, surely we can give everyone in the country a fair chance at that American dream"
First Lady Michelle Obama
Thank you, to the efforts of Ted Olson, David Boies, and the brave couples who stood up against Proposition 8. Your fighting the ban on gay marriage in California is serving as an inspiration for the rest of this country. Olson and Boies, the lawyers who chose to represent against their state have turned the public opinion in favor of gay marriage rights.
" We ought to have marriage equality as a constitutional right everywhere," Boise said.
U.N.C. law professor Maxine Eichner said the wording against the Defense of Marriage Act could set the stage for future challenges to the states year-old constitutional amendment that recognizes marriage ONLY between one man and one woman. Not unlike Prop. 8, which outlawed gay marriage in California.
The law passed in 1996 violates the constitutions equal protection guarantee. State constitutions cannot allow something deemed unconstitutional at the federal level, therefore, gay marriage bans in North Carolina and elsewhere could be challenged, she said. "What this does is set up the next wave of challenges to states who ban same-sex marriage."
The D.O.M.A ruling allows same-sex couples that are married in any state that recognizes their union, can now receive benefits and citizenship in North Carolina.
Now is the time, while the countries outpouring is favored toward same-sex marriage, to legally fight for our own recognition. The target has been presented before us, lets not miss the shot and wait until the last possible minute or rely on other states to gain our empowerment.
There have been numerous advertisements for either gay or gay-friendly lawyers practicing in the state of North Carolina. My question to them: " Is there anyone/ or group willing to aid in our causes for the gay community in North Carolina?" "Are you willing to help US get marriage equality?", like Boise and Olson did for Californians. Any advice and input on this matter will be greatly appreciated. One day I would like to ask my partner of 17 years to marry me. If not to protect the life we have built together, but for future generations to come.
